Evolv Kronos – Climbing Shoes

The Kronos climbing shoes by Evolv ae versatile and comfortable. They are equally well-suited to climbing on climbing walls, climbing gardens or on multi-pitch routes, because they have little heel tension and hardly any downturn, which makes them very comfortable.

But take note – if you think that Kronos are just for beginners, you’re wrong! Experienced climbers also value them as comfortable all-rounder shoes that perform well not just for climbing with ropes but also for bouldering.
They have two different hook and loop tapes for a secure fit on the foot, and a hook and loop strip along the side for highly individualised adjustment. The bottom fastener is a normal hook and loop fastener, while the top fastener runs diagonally as an adjustable loop for even better optimisation of the fit, so the Kronos are even comfortable for climbers with a high instep.

A 1.2 millimetre thick midsole gives the foot stability for stepping on smaller holds and supports the muscles of the foot and calf. This is a real bonus for long climbing routes and multi-pitch tours because it stops your feet from tiring so quickly! The Kronos also score points across the board when it comes to friction – the rubber compound of the Trax soles provides an excellent grip on slabs and small friction steps.
