The Switch Adjust from Edelrid is an extremely practical and quickly adjustable self-belaying lanyard. It consists of a piece of dynamic rope, as well as a rope clamp and a carabiner. Thanks to the large loop, the Switch Adjust can be easily tied your harness using a girth hitch. Whilst self-belaying, the rope clamp should be hooked into the anchor point via the carabiner and then you can adjust the length of the rope.
In addition, the Switch Adjust can be used as a resting sling for via ferratas (note: it does not replace a via ferrata set!)
